So honest review, I have passed this place a few times and I finally stopped to try it. I won't say the reviews are wrong. But this place is expensive. I'm used to paying about $25 to $30 for some good BBQ. I ALWAYS try the ribs. I love ribs, and I feel like that's the best representation of a bbq restaurant, if the ribs are dry, you know something. If they're tender and flavorful, than most likely everything else is good. What I have never experienced, in all 48 states (I'm a trucker) is 3 ribs for $30... They literally gave me 3 ribs. Not even 6 or a half rack. So I feel slighted... $30 is ALOT to pay for only 3 ribs... Other than that I guess they're not bad if you have money to burn.

Stopped here to grab some lunch to go to eat while we charged at the nearby new Tesla Superchargers. We got the I-5 Loaded Mac n Cheese with tri-tip, and also the pulled pork version too. Also got the dinner rolls. Really tasty. Portion size was pretty generous with plenty of tri-tip and Mac. Same for the pulled pork version. Everyone really enjoyed it and look forward to stopping by again on a future trip. Had one snafu where they accidentally overcharged us, charging us for single item combos instead of for the loaded mac, but they were able to get that voided out and corrected the charge. The employee that was helping us said she was new, and only had been working there for 5 days so probably just a simple mistake. She was very helpful, clearly explaining the menu, what was available, and made sure we had plenty of napkins, utensils, and cold water to go. They also had nice clean restrooms, so overall a great place to stop for a bite to eat.

Stopped here on our way to our CA destination from AZ today. Wow. I am sad that we missed the brisket - it was sold out by the time we arrived but if the tri-tip and pork ribs are any indication -- it was legendary. Our plate combos were outstanding. Full of juicy flavor and sauce. I loved the mac and cheese as my side and the potato salad is quite buildable in flavor from everything else on the plate. It does have celery in it, if you're allergic. What a great spot near the highway. If coming back through here next year, we may just have to stop back in and revisit! Wish I'd gotten to get the brisket. Definitely add it to your travel stop for some delicious protein & carbs! :)

Stopped on a whim while traveling and it didn’t disappoint! As many of reviews highlighted, the Mac and cheese is delicious!! I also enjoyed the pulled pork sandwich and the staff were friendly.

Fantastic. Best BBQ we have had in ages. Pulled Pork was moist, not salty. Tri Tip succulent. Everything had a nice smoke flavor not over smoked or fake smoke. BBQ sauce was great and the rolls nice and soft. The Cole slaw was really good too. Cute place to stop.

Stopped for lunch while driving up north and wanted to try somewhere new. 10/10 would recommend stopping in, the woman who took our order was so nice and she walked us through the options and recommendations! Get the Mac and cheese!! The pulled pork was so good and tri tip has a great smokiness to it. Inside and outside seating, will have to make the effort to come back soon!

I really wanted this to blow me away given the reviews, but I walked away with thoughts that 'this was good, but not great'. Had the Tri-tip, beans, macncheese. Tri-tip was a little tougher than I was expected but overall good (also was hoping for more given the $24 price). MacNCheese was delish. Beans honestly tasted like canned Pork and Beans...I mean they are good but nothing you can't get from the store. The staff was very pleasant and the place definitely gives the hometown/welcoming vibe.
